Microsoft Word易访问性检查表

为了能够自己访问，并简化生成兼容的可访问PDF的过程, 在microsoftword中创作文档时，应符合以下标准:

请注意，google 医生s不能用于导出可访问的PDF文档.

元数据和基本信息

  • 的 Title 字段中设置 医生ument information (File > Info).
  • 文件扩展名为 .多克斯, 不 .医生.
  • 文件名是人类可读的(i.e.，而不是283793854.多克斯).
  • 文档信息中的作者元数据准确地表示组织(如.e. pg电子下载)而不是个人，如果合适的话.

结构和关系

  • 文档标题描述了该节的主题或目的.
  • 标题是通过微软Word识别的 风格 系统(不仅仅是视觉排版的改变). 文件的标题应该是 标题1(大纲第一级)，主要文档部分使用 标题2(大纲第2级)等等. 您可以使用。来确认文档的结构 导航面板. View > Show > 导航面板)
  • 标题按顺序和分层使用，并且不会跳过标题级别. (换句话说，不要从标题2跳到标题5)
  • 非标题文本不分配给标题样式.
  • 您的文档使用的标题级别不超过6个.
  • 项目符号列表或数字列表是用Word的列表工具创建的(不要手动键入数字并添加制表符来创建列表).
  • 列表不会被段落或其他项目打断.
  • 避免使用文本框. (如果你需要额外的布局灵活性, 考虑过渡到Adobe InDesign, 这为创建各种可访问布局提供了更多的自由)
  • 如果需要文本框，则应将其设置为“与文本对齐”布局/文本换行选项. 请确保文本框的锚按您希望阅读内容的顺序出现.
  • 如果需要列，则使用Word的列工具创建列，并酌情使用分隔符.
  • 运行的头, 页码, 以及其他出现在每个页面上的元素都使用Word的页眉和页脚系统进行布局.
  • 页眉或页脚中的所有信息对于用户的感知至关重要，这些信息在文档的正文中也会重复出现. (页眉和页脚对屏幕阅读器和辅助设备是隐藏的.)

文本格式

  • 如果可能的话，尽量减少段落间的连字符
  • 如果可能的话，合理对齐的使用是有限的
  • 避免了额外的空白字符(e.g.，多个硬回车，多个空格，过多的制表符). 相反，间距是通过布局选项来控制的 & 段落样式.
  • 除了首字母缩略词外，避免使用大写文本
  • 下划线仅用于超链接
  • 斜体的使用被最小化，因为对于扩展块来说，它很难阅读

图片

  • 所有非装饰性图像都有一个描述性替代文本(alt文本)集.
  • 除了官方标志外，避免使用传达文本的图像. 如果使用带有文本的图像，则该文本必须包含在图像的替代文本中.
  • 装饰性图像被标记为装饰性. (包括不传达任何新/相关信息的装饰性照片，以及图形和形状/分隔).
  • 在布局/文本换行选项中，非装饰性图像设置为“与文本对齐”.

导航

  • 如果包含目录，则使用Microsoft Word的目录功能创建目录.

超链接

  • 链接文本描述链接的目的/位置, 而不是URL或“点击这里”之类的通用术语."
  • 通过超链接样式(加下划线，通常是对比色)来识别链接。.
  • 如果使用图像作为超链接，则图像的替代文本是描述性链接文本.
