About Domestic and Dating Violence

Dating Violence Statistics

  • 近一半(43%)的大学女生表示经历过暴力和虐待行为.

Long-lasting Effects

  • 暴力关系会产生严重的后果，使受害者有更高的滥用药物的风险, eating disorders, risky sexual behavior and further domestic violence.

Lack of Awareness

What is sexual violence?

  • Sexual violence can occur between friends, classmates, spouses, romantic interests, acquaintances or strangers. 性暴力的例子包括强奸、性侵犯、性殴打和性胁迫.

What is dating violence?

Dating violence is violence committed by a person who is or has been in a social relationship of a romantic or intimate nature with the victim; and where the existence of such a relationship shall be determined based on a consideration of the following factors: the length of the relationship, the type of relationship, 以及关系中双方互动的频率.   • Physical
  • Emotional/Verbal/Psychological

  • Punching

What is stalking?

  • Show up at home or work uninvited
  • Send you unwanted messages
  • Leave unwanted gifts

Campus Sexual Violence Elimination (SaVE) Act
